RVTS, a unique training scheme which trains doctors towards specialist qualifications in general practice, is recruiting doctors to the Kimberley and Pilbara regions.

Remote Vocational Training Scheme (RVTS), which is fully funded by the Australian Government, is currently seeking interest from doctors to work and train to GP Fellowship in Halls Creek and South Hedland.

Successful candidates will remain at the location for the three to four years of their training through to GP Fellowship of the RACGP, ACRRM or both.

Doctor with patient
RVTS recruits and retains doctors in remote communities by delivering fully Federal Government funded training to doctors via remote supervision and distance education. While in training RVTS doctors are eligible to access the A1 Medicare schedule.

Since 2000, through the innovative use of technology and remote supervision, RVTS has trained more than 400 doctors to GP Fellowship in more than 280 rural and remote communities across Australia with a 90+% GP Fellowship success rate.
