Occupational Therapist

About the Role
  • New opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary practice in the coastal town of Geraldton, Western Australia.

    Allegro Physiotherapy is a modern, vibrant, expanding practice that values work life balance and a strong team culture currently delivering a range of Physiotherapy services to Geraldton residents. Some of these services include manual therapy, trigger point therapy, dry needling, joint mobilisation or manipulation, muscle energy techniques, ESWT (Shockwave therapy), taping or bracing, xray, ultrasound and MRI referrals and providing direct access to GPs at Batavia Health and City Health if required.

    The Occupational Therapist will see a large variety of clients including NDIS participants including both paediatric and adults. In addition conditions seen include autism, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, rhetts syndrome, down syndrome, anxiety disorders and aged care. The role will be a variety of in clinic therapy, home modification assessments, assisting NDIS participants by assessing them for funding, some home therapy, group therapy for paediatric clients and within ages care facility.
Experience & Skills
  • APHRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Australian recognised undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as pat of a team
  • NDIS experience(advantageous)
  • Australian work rights

Midwest

There are approximately 80 doctors in the region, including private general practitioners, specialists and doctors employed by the hospital and the Aboriginal Medical Service.
