Occupational Therapist

About the Role
  • Allegro require a motivated Occupational Therapist to work in their private practice in Geraldton, in the mid west. Allegro Physiotherapy prides itself on providing the ultimate Allied Health experience. At Allegro we go the extra mile to develop our skills to pass on to our clients and ensure exceptional service. Your role will be to grow an existing client base in both an inpatient and outpatient setting, working closely with other health professionals. Management pay for regular PD

    We actively promote work-life balance. No one works weekends, 38 hour week, excellent remuneration, incentives, flexible hours, a large variety of patients. You will have the opportunity to work directly with OTs, Speech Therapists, closely with GPs, Podiatrists and Orthopaedic surgeons.
Experience & Skills
  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy
  • We are willing to accept a new graduate if you display the right personal qualities and will provide extensive training.
  • To fit into our team you must have excellent personal and communication skills.
  • You must want to learn and to succeed in your profession. The right candidate must be motivated and show initiative.
  • Work in a multidisc team guided by experienced Therapists. Allegro will soon be a multidisciplinary provider for the NDIS (pending registration)
  • We will provide a comprehensive service involving the treatment of paediatrics and adults
  • Exercise rehabilitation in our exercise studios
  • Aged Care experience

Covering an area of some 470,000 square kilometres, the Midwest region extends from the outback to the ocean. The economic base for the region centres on mining, agriculture, fishing and tourism. Attractions include internationally recognised windsurfing beaches, wildflowers and a rich maritime history of mutiny and shipwrecks.

The region has a population of more than 50,000 people. More than half is based in the City of Geraldton, the region’s commercial, administrative and service centre, around four hours drive north of Perth.

The coastal part of the region enjoys a Mediterranean climate, while the inland experiences warm, dry summers and cool winters.

There are approximately 80 doctors in the region, including private general practitioners, specialists and doctors employed by the hospital and the Aboriginal Medical Service.
