About the Role
  • Seeking a dentist passionate about dental care to work on a part time basis within our busy 2-chair practice in Geraldton operating for over 25 years.

    Situated 4.5 hours north of Perth, Geraldton is a vibrant coastal city with plenty of outdoor adventure to be had. We have patients of a variety of demographics - retirees, farmers, professionals and children. This position would suit a dentist wanting to practice the complete spectrum of general dentistry.

    Working alongside a team of experienced dentists, you will provide general dentistry services, treating a variety of conditions including dental hygiene and preventative care, gum disease, general surgery, root canal therapy, crown and bridge work, cosmetic dentistry, dentures, fillings, porcelain veneers, mouth guards, teeth whitening and emergency treatment.
Experience & Skills
  • APHRA registration as a dentist
  • 1-2 years experience as general dentist would be highly regarded, however not mandatory with graduates encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication skills and be able to work in a team environment
  • A patient oriented approach
  • Experience in oral surgery or endodontics will be advantageous.

Covering an area of some 470,000 square kilometres, the Midwest region extends from the outback to the ocean. The economic base for the region centres on mining, agriculture, fishing and tourism. The coastal part of the region enjoys a Mediterranean climate, while the inland experiences warm, dry summers and cool winters.

There are approximately 80 doctors in the region, including private general practitioners, specialists and doctors employed by the hospital and the Aboriginal Medical Service.
