About the Role
  • Opportunity for a passionate physiotherapist to join an experienced allied health team in Katanning, Western Australia. Juniper Bethshan facility is a small, homely, residential care facility that has recently benefited from extensive renovations. Staff here care for 26 residents with a variety of needs. Bethshan is located in the well resourced, south eastern town of Katanning, 300 kms from Perth, and home to almost 4000 people.

    In this role you will be responsible for providing physiotherapy assessment, treatment, care and advice to our residents. This is a key position contributing to resident care plans and the development of suitable activities, based on resident requirements.

    Key Responsibilities of this role include assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating individual and group physiotherapy needs and implementing mobility programs to meet individual needs of residents. You will contribute to the team development, implementation, review and evaluation of physiotherapy care plans ands upport the maintenance or restoration of the residents’ independence, establishing and maintaining effective communication with residents. In addition as part of this role you will be required to maintain accurate resident information and respond to the requests and concerns of families and other carers
Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor of Applied Science, Physiotherapy
  • Current registration with the Physiotherapists' Registration board of WA
  • Previous experience working in an aged care environment (Desirable), however we will accept new grads
  • Experience in effective supervision and performance management of staff

Great Southern

The Great Southern region, located south-east of Perth, covers an area of approximately 87,000 square kilometres and has a population of about 80,000 people.
