General Practitioner

DPA/DWS location - Part time GP required for this busy practice in the picturesque coastal hub town of Albany. This position is ideal for a GP with a keen interest in women’s health, and looking for a great work/life balance, or is heading towards retirement. Working three days per week with the option to extend to four days per week, there will be plenty of time to explore the gorgeous surrounds and those around you. The successful candidate will be working independently, thus a GP close to Fellowship will be preferred. Albany is a beautiful coastal location, with nature strips, amazing beaches, walk trails, culture and eateries.

The Practice Private, solo practice. Situated in Albany Western Australia. We are a small, family orientated practice with an interest in occupational health. We complete all aspects of pre-employment assessments and believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.

  • Remuneration: % of billings depending on qualifications. Average GP income is between $201,000 - $250,000.
  • Agreement: Independent contract agreement

The Great Southern region, located south-east of Perth, covers an area of approximately 87,000 square kilometres and has a population of about 80,000 people.

The regional centre is the historic port town of Albany, which has one of the best natural anchorages in the southern hemisphere. Other centres include Denmark, a popular coastal holiday town, as well as the agricultural centres of Katanning and Mount Barker.
