This broadcast gives us a broad overview and update on the various issues associated with women’s health. Dr Robyn Leake and Dr Alison Creagh from FPWA Sexual Health Services join Dr Olga Ward in the studio to discuss the latest issues. Topics discussed include:

  • Menorrhagia and bleeding
  • Menopause
  • Contraception
  • Sexually transmissible diseases
  • Pregnancy

Dr Terry Pitsikas, a family practice GP, discusses recent changes to Chlamydia screening and reporting as well as the recent released ‘Partner Notification for Chlamydia’ resource folder for GPs.

We visit the WA Perinatal Mental Health unit to discuss topics from Depression and other mental health issues that can be associated with pregnancy.
