Managing Patient Depression and Suicidality: GP Peer Group Learning | Various Locations

An ideal opportunity to have open, honest discussions with colleagues, a psychiatrist and local GP with a special interest in mental health care, about the management of patient depression and suicidality in primary care. 2 hour, case-based conversation over a shared meal. The peer meetings extend previous workshops and GP Management of Patient Depression and Suicidality online modules, and offer: Direct, in-person Q&A and discussion with an experienced psychiatrist Practical strategies for managing complex mental health presentations, grounded in local clinical experiences Greater confidence in assessment and prescribing decisions Updated information on local referral pathways and service Increased local, collegial support

Junior Doctor Pilbara Immersion

You will tour local hospitals, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations and general practices in Karratha and Port Hedland and take part in cultural and lifestyle experiences.
