This Rural Health West CPD workshop is designed to assist health professionals develop and practise skills essential in unexpected crises, particularly with problem airways. Delivered in WA Country Health Service facilities, this workshop has a heavy emphasis on teamwork and the organisation of medical emergency teams incorporating presentations, skill stations and scenario-based crises with simulation manikins (SimMan and baby).

Eligibility: GP anaesthetists and theatre staff. Priority is given to those working in the local region. Should places be available, emergency department doctors and nurses are invited to register. 

Length: One day. 8.00am-4.30pm      

Cost: FREE
The cost of this workshop is subsidised by WA Country Health Service through the Better Medical Care Initiative.

Accreditation: This workshop is pending accreditation with RACGP and ACRRM

Cancellation Policy
Applicants who give notice of cancellation of four (4) weeks or more will receive a full refund of the course fee. 
Applicants who withdraw from the course 14 days prior will receive a 50% refund of the course fee. 
Applicants who fail to attend a course or who withdraw from the course less than 14 days of the course date will be considered on an individual case basis.
