Managing Patient Depression and Suicidality: GP Peer Group Learning | Various Locations

An ideal opportunity to have open, honest discussions with colleagues, a psychiatrist and local GP with a special interest in mental health care, about the management of patient depression and suicidality in primary care. 2 hour, case-based conversation over a shared meal. Junior Doctor Pilbara Immersion

Get first-hand exposure to the career pathways, lifestyles and opportunities of working as a rural generalist in the Pilbara. You will tour local hospitals, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations and general practices in Karratha and Port Hedland and take part in cultural and lifestyle experiences. PLUS you will receive an all-expenses paid ticket to the Rural and Remote Retrieval Weekend in Karijini National Park, featuring hands-on emergency and retrieval training (valued at $2400).
