Rural Emergency Assessment Clinical Training (REACT) course - Geraldton
The REACT course is designed to assist Western Australian GP Visiting Medical Practitioners to maintain their emergency knowledge and skills and gain formal assessment toward their emergency credentialing, as required by WA Country Health Service.
Including major trauma in adults and children, cardiac arrest, as well as associated life saving procedural skills, the REACT course is highly interactive, with participants predominantly involved in practical skill stations and simulated scenarios.
Eligibility: Priority is given to Western Australian GP Visiting Medical Practitioners. All medical practitioners are welcome to register.
Accreditation and grant: ACRRM: 22 PRPD / RACGP: 80 CPD points / Grant: Two days emergency or anaesthetics
Length: Two days. 8.30am – 5.30pm each day
Cost: $1,650 (including GST)
Workshops Cancellation/Refund Policy
Cancellation of place in workshop received seven (7) days prior to the workshop will receive a full refund. Refunds for cancellation of workshop place received with less than seven (7) days notice will be considered on an individual case basis.
In the instance of non-attendance, no refund will be provided, unless extenuating circumstances can be proven. Rural Health West reserves the right to change, or cancel workshops if registration numbers are insufficient. In this instance a full refund will be made to participants.
All cancellation notifications in relation to workshop places should be made in writing to the Education Project Officer via firstname.lastname@example.org.
