CPD grants for nurses, midwives, dentists and allied health.
We know how important it is to keep your skills and knowledge up to date, so that you can offer the best care to your community. There are a range of opportunities for rural health professionals to obtain a scholarship to support education and training costs.
Health Workforce Scholarship Program
The Health Workforce Scholarship Program (HWSP) provides support to health professionals in rural, regional and remote Australia to develop their skills, capacity and scope of practice.
The HWSP is an initiative of the Australian Government Department of Health designed to improve access to health services needed in rural areas.
For the first time, scholarships will be allocated based on the needs of communities, whether for general practitioners, nurses, midwives, dentists or allied health professionals.
Click here for more information about the HWSP.
