Locum
Rural Health West’s Bush Locum Program offers attractive incentives to Australian or New Zealand GPs eligible for unconditional registration in Australia, who are willing to do occasional locum work in rural Western Australia. This provides great opportunities for these doctors to access variety in their practice or perhaps travel to new areas.
Rural Health West also administers the Bush Buddy Program which provides opportunities for Australian doctors to broaden their horizons by working for short periods each year as locums in AMS practices and mentoring International Medical Graduates already working in Aboriginal Health.
Rural Health West, in partnership with Rural Health Workforce Australia, supports rural and remote GPs through the Rural GP Locum Program (RGPLP)
