Fully Comparable Doctors
Fellowship ad eudum gradum (FAEG) doctors are at the same level as Australian trained specialists for general practice. There is no need for further College examinations, and no further training required.
Doctors in this category hold the following qualifications:
| Canada | Certificate in Family Medicine from College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) + Evidence of Canadian Qualifying Examinations Part 1 + 2 post 1992 |
| Ireland | Graduate of ICGP holding MICGP membership |
| New Zealand | Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP) |
| UK | Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners holding the JCPTGP certificate or |
| UK | Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners holding the post graduate Medical Education and Training (PMETB) qualification |
Partially Comparable Doctors
The doctors require some further training or supervised practice and assessment to be regarded as fully comparable.
