Rural Health West is the trading name for the Western Australian Centre for Remote and Rural Medicine Ltd. It is a
not-for-profit, membership-based organisation overseen
by a Board of Directors.

As the workforce agency for Western Australia, Rural Health West aims to work collaboratively with organisations and
individuals to ensure that the health needs of rural Western Australians are met by a high-quality, sustainable health workforce.

Western Australia offers great beauty and diversity. Those working here can expect variety and challenge whilst finding the experience memorable and rewarding. Rural Health West is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing and Western Australian Department of Health.
