Rural and Remote Retrieval Weekend

Thursday 24 to Sunday 27 May 2012
Karijini National Park

Registration form

Program overview

Rural Health West is delighted to once again host an action packed Rural and Remote Retrieval Weekend Conference located within the Karijini National Park.

After the success of the 2011 Rural and Remote Retrieval Weekend Conference, Rural Health West is pleased to announce an extended program that includes an extra day to accommodate more delegates and provide additonal learning opportunities and scenario stations.

This conference provides participants with the opportunity to learn about the management of medical emergencies in a wilderness environment. If you are interested in this Weekend Conference check out the action and feedback from the 2011 Conference here.

The 2012 Weekend Conference will also allow for an 'Afternoon of Adventure' for those delegates who wish to traverse, paddle, slide, swim, jump and climb their way through Karijini National Park. This afternoon will be limited to eight participants and a high level of fitness will be required. For delegates who do not wish to participate in the 'Afternoon of Adventure' there will be an opportunity to relax, rest or explore the Park at a leisurely pace. Register your preference on the registration form.

With eco tent accommodation being provided at the Karijini Eco Retreat, registration fees will also include all meals, evening social events and eco-survival kit.

The conference program and registration form will be available to download in early 2012. Please be advised that this weekend is strictly limited to 30 delegates. In 2011 this conference was fully subscribed so register early to ensure you don't miss out.
