Rural Doctors Broadcasts
The Rural Doctors Broadcasts are monthly television programs for rural and remote general practitioners and other health professionals. Each one-hour episode focuses on a particular area of health or medicine with specific attention to topical issues.
The programs provide doctors with latest information and advice on all areas of health, medicine and general practice from experts in their field and aim to improve the daily working lives of general practitioners in rural and remote locations.

General practitioners are awarded Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points for viewing the broadcasts. Points can only be awarded once viewers have registered with Rural Health West and submitted a completed Evaluation Form.
The Rural Doctors Broadcasts are aired nationally on the Westlink network from 7:30pm to 8:30pm on the first Tuesday of each month from February through to November.
