In this broadcast Drs Olga Ward, Jim Goodburn and Eileen Tay use three case studies to provide discussion on:
- management of depression
- management of psychosis
- management of anxiety
- dependence on drugs and alcohol
The aim of this Rural Doctors Broadcast is to provide GPs with information on:
- how to deal with passive, aggressive or difficult patients
- how to establish and maintain a line of communication with the patient
- practical tips for asking the right questions in a mental health assessment
