Rural Health West Membership

Rural Health West is a non-government, not for profit organisation, which continues to help address the recruitment and retention of medical practitioners in rural and remote WA and to develop strategies and programs aimed at enhancing the sustainability of medical practice in these areas.

Rural Health West provides advice and personal and professional support to medical practitioners, practices, communities and health services through every stage of a doctor’s employment in a rural or remote location of WA. We offer comprehensive information and extensive orientation to assist medical practitioners in taking up the unique challenges of working in rural and remote WA.
