Registered Nurse - Aged Care
About the Role
Working closely with staff, residents and families, a Registered Nurse leads the assessment of individualised, person-centred care and service requirements for residents and oversees the delivery of clinical and allied health services.
This role also provides clinical delivery, support, guidance to management and clinical staff and works closely with the Clinical Care Coordinator in the identification of evidence-based best practice and quality initiatives across the facility.

Current registration with AHPRA.
Proven high level of clinical competencies with excellent clinical analysis, interpretation and planning skills.
Able to lead and influence others.
Appreciation and practical demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team.
Sound understanding of care assessment in the Aged Care Sector.
Relates to older people with empathy, understanding and respect.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work flexibly in a team environment.
Knowledge of legislation and standards pertaining to the Aged Care sector.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a wide range of IT applications.
Ability to respond to changing priorities and complete a busy workload.
Current National Police Certificate.
An understanding of contemporary Aged Care issues and opportunities.
Sound understanding and experience in meeting Aged Care Standards and Outcomes.
Good understanding of ACFI.
