Primary Remote Area Nurse

About the Role
  • Silver Chain has a current vacancy for a Permanent Primary Remote Area Nurse for Hyden. This position is placed on a Full-Time basis. The opportunity to deliver emergency, routine and non-emergency Nurse Care and clinical assessments.
Experience & Skills
  • You will have well-developed interpersonal, problem solving and decision making skills along with post registration experience in a Remote Nursing and Community Health setting, you will be required to work Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm, there is a on call component (alternate weekends) with this role. You will also have: Advanced Clinical assessment skills Experience in Emergency Nursing The ability to Plan and implement holistic care for clients, family and community Current Registration with AHPRA Have sound knowledge of the principles of primary health care delivery Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach Excellent Communicational skills both Verbal and written A current driver’s licence Ability to obtain a satisfactory National Police Certificate

Great Southern

The Great Southern region, located south-east of Perth, covers an area of approximately 87,000 square kilometres and has a population of about 80,000 people.

The regional centre is the historic port town of Albany, which has one of the best natural anchorages in the southern hemisphere. Other centres include Denmark, a popular coastal holiday town, as well as the agricultural centres of Katanning and Mount Barker.
