Full time general practitioner with procedural skills in obstetrics required for this purpose-built practice in the picturesque town of Manjimup. Located in the South West region of Western Australia, you will be in the doorstep to wineries, forest, and tranquillity. This practice was established two years ago, and is owned and operated by a larger well-established practice in nearby Collie. Support from very experienced procedural practitioners is close by. The practice is expanding to have the capacity to accommodate six full time general practitioners, currently accommodating three full time practitioners. Allied health, pathology, telehealth, audiology, nurses station, theatre and treatment room are all available at this practice. Manjimup is serviced by the Warren District Hospital that is also currently building a new facility, due for completion early 2018.

The Requirements
  • Obstetrics: Desirable
  • Anaesthetics: Desirable
  • Surgery: Desirable
  • Emergency: Desirable
  • Other Skills: Obstetrics essential, but other procedural skills are welcome.
  • On call: 1 day per week, 1 in every 5 weekends.
The Package
  • Renumeration: Dependant on the candidate, usually 60% billings which equates to $301,000 - $350,000 per annum on average. No superannuation.
  • Accommodation: Accommodation available at very reasonable rates, or candidate is welcome to make own arrangements.
  • Vehicle: Not provided.
  • Leave: 4 to 6 weeks per annum, unpaid.
  • Agreement: Independent Contractor
  • Other details: Southern Inland Health Initiative (SIHI) incentives may be on offer for on-call emergency shifts, procedural work, and relocation - if applicable.
