Chronic Disease Management

Rural Health West, in partnership with The Benchmarque Group, is pleased to invite doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to the Chronic Disease Support Program. 
The Chronic Disease Support Program is driven by a desire to create better health for clients; reduced hospital admissions; better patient compliance; and the provision of care by those best qualified to provide advice. The program is a nationally-accredited program and is fully funded by the Australian Government Department of Health under the Ear and Hearing Health Project.

Eligibility: all health professionals, including general practice teams.

Early Detection of Skin Cancer Workshop PART 2

Rural Health West, in partnership with Melanoma WA and Skin Check WA, is pleased to present part 2 of the Early Detection of Skin Cancer series, an interactive workshop on skin cancer identification and prevention.

Eligibility: medical practitioners and nurses. Priority is given to those working in the local region.

Foot Health Assessment Program

The program is designed to provide skills and knowledge for a range of health professionals and others working within Indigenous health to provide detailed information and advice in relation to foot health management.

Otitis Media Management Program

Rural Health West, in partnership with The Benchmarque Group, is pleased to invite doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to the Otitis Media Management Program. This course is designed to develop the knowledge and skills required for professionals working in Indigenous health to safely assess the aural health of individuals and implement best practice management guidelines.

South West Education and Networking Dinner

Join us for a Respiratory Medicine update on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). This regional educational session will focus on the treatment and management of COPD and provide an opportunity to increase clinical knowledge, share information, opinions and observations through problem-based discussions with Dr de Chaneet and colleagues.

Eligibility: all South West general practitioners, hospital-based medical practitioners, registrars and medical students.
