The National Allergy Strategy (an initiative of the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy, and Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia) will be holding an evening educational session as part of the National Allergy Strategy for medical practitioners and paediatricians.
The session will be held at the Oaks Broome and dinner will be served.
The allergy update will educate medical staff about food challenges, immunotherapy and decreasing the number of visits to Perth for Kimberley patients.
Presentations will be delivered by:
Professor Richard Loh - Clinical Immunologist from Princess Margaret Hospital
Ms Ingrid Roche - Allergy dietitian from Princess Margaret Hospital
Ms Val Noble - Clinical Nurse Specialist from Princess Margaret Hospital
Ms Sandra Vale - National Allergy Strategy Coordinator and a consumer who is living with an allergy.
Eligibility: Open to all Medical Practitioners and Paediatricians. Priority will be given to those within the region.
Length: 6.30pm - 9.00pm
Cost: This session is FREE but registration is essential.
