4 x 1.5 hour sessions delivered throughout 2016

Please note: when registering for this event you are registering to attend all four sessions. In order to receive Category 1 CPD points, you must attend all sessions of the Clinical Cardiology Series. For those participants who cannot attend all sessions, Category 2 points will apply.

Rural Health West, in partnership with HeartCare Western Australia, is pleased to invite regional medical officers and general practitioners to The Clinical Cardiology Series. This Active Learning Module (ALM) delivered over four sessions is free to attend. Facilitated by visiting cardiologist Dr Ben King, the series will allow participants the opportunity to expand their
knowledge of different clinical skills and heart diseases relevant to the rural health setting.

13 April 2016  ECG Interpretation 
8 June 2016 Outpatient cardiac investigations
10 August 2016 Valvular heart disease
26 October 2016 Preventive cardiology

 
Eligibility: General practitioner, registrar and medical students. Priority is given to those working in the local region. 

Length: 4 x 1.5 sessions, 5.30pm - 7.00pm

Cost: Free of charge

Accreditation: This workshop is pending accredited with RACGP and ACRRM for continuing professional development points. Please contact your relevant college before attending training if you wish to apply for the grant. 

Workshops Cancellation/Refund Policy: Cancellations received four weeks prior to the workshop will receive a full refund of workshop fee. Cancellations received fourteen (14)
