Rural Health West will be hosting an education forum for GP anaesthetists. To register your interest, please email the Events team.
The two day forum will include lectures, small problem based discussions, simulation and skills stations happening concurrently over the weekend facilitated by experienced specialists. It will also be an opportunity to catch up and develop networks with fellow GP anaesthetists and colleagues.

*Travel grant is only applicable to GP anaesthetists living and working in rural Western Australia.

For those delegates not staying at the Pan Pacific Perth, please be aware that it is your responsibility to pay transport costs to and from the forum venue by private vehicle, taxi or other transport whilst in Perth.
Rural Health West will provide the following travel support for currently practising general practitioners who work and live in rural and remote Western Australia.
- Fuel reimbursement; or
- Air travel for doctor.
Full attendance at the forum, is a condition of flights and travel reimbursement by Rural Health West. If you are not in attendance for the whole program, you will be invoiced for the cost of your travel. Tickets booked prior to full registration payment being received by Rural Health West will not be authorised.
Flights must be booked through Corporate Traveller. Fees for changes to tickets are not reimbursable by Rural Health West. Should you wish to travel to or from Perth outside of the specified forum dates, your fare can still be covered on condition no additional expense to the organisation is incurred.
After registering for the forum, please contact Corporate Traveller as soon as possible to book your flights by emailing Cara Bradbury with the following information:
- Name of traveller as per personal ID
- City/town of departure
- Preferred dates and times of travel
- Contact phone numbers - ideally a mobile and a landline
- Frequent flyer membership numbers
- Any other requirements you have

If you will be driving to Perth for the forum, you are eligible for a reimbursement on your petrol expenses to and from Perth to your home town.
A Reimbursement Form will need to be completed and returned to the Events Team by Friday 21 December 2018. Please ensure that original tax invoices are provided when submitting your claim. EFTPOS receipts will not be accepted.
Rural Health West is unable to reimburse the following items:
- Flights not booked through Corporate Traveller
- Flight changes
- Partner and children's travel
- Taxi charges
- Parking fees
- Hire cars
- Mileage allowance for private vehicles
- Meals other than specified in the forum program
- Forum registration fee
- Babysitting fees
The Pan Pacific Perth offers self-parking facilities and valet service for your convenience.
Valet parking is $35 per night including unlimited entries and exits.
Self-parking rates are as follows:
0 to 1 hour: $6
Day rate - 6.00am-6.00pm: $18
Nigh rate - 6.00pm-6.00am: $12
24 hours: $30
