Skills by the Sea Conference 2016

The Skills by the Sea Conference was held on 22 October 2016 and included a diverse range of workshop streams across a number of Active Learning Modules relevant to rural practice. Each workshop stream was facilitated by experienced physicians and included interactive clinical updates, hands-on participation and small group learning opportunities.

Travel information

Travel information for currently practising rural and remote Western Australian doctors

Rural Health West will provide travel support for currently practising doctors who work and live in rural and remote Western Australia and their spouses/partners.


It is important to note that if you wish to make a claim, the form MUST be completed and sent to Rural Health West NO LATER than 14 November 2016 otherwise your reimbursement will not be claimable or processed.

Fuel reimbursement

For those delegates driving to Perth for the conference, download a reimbursement form. Copies will be available on the day. Please ensure that original tax invoices are provided when submitting your claim to Rural Health West. EFTPOS receipts will not be accepted.

Non-reimbursable items

 

  • Flight arrangements not booked through Corporate Traveller
  • Flight changes
  • Accommodation and all related expenses (accommodation rates have been negotiated with the conference venue)
  • Children’s travel unless approved by Events Coordinator
  • Taxi charges
  • Parking fees
  • Hire cars
  • Mileage allowance for private vehicles
  • Meals other than specified in the conference program
  • Conference registration fee
  • Family Support Program and babysitting fees
