“Country people are amazing; they're friendly and welcoming and they're always up to so much. Being a doctor in a country town is really different because you're an important part of that community and you contribute to that community's health and well-being. I think that is an awesome privilege. You also grow along the way with your patients and you learn as you go. They really take you on as part of the community, and it is an awesome feeling to be someone's doctor over a long period of time being a rural GP and share in their important milestones.”
