The Annual Photography Competition is now open

The winning photograph will feature on the cover of our 2019 desk calendar. An additional 11 photographs will be selected from the competition to feature in the calendar.

Each year a total of 12 entries are selected to be included in the Rural Health West desk calendar, with the winning photograph featuring on the cover.

All entries will be judged by Facebook users during the competition. At the conclusion, one major winner will be selected based on votes and will win a GoPro Hero5 Session Waterproof 4K Video Action Camera and a framed copy of their winning photograph. 

A second winner will be drawn at random and awarded a cheque to the value of $100 for voting for their favourite photo - it is that easy!  


The Annual Photography Competition is open to rural medical and health professionals, and their immediate families. Entries must be in a high-resolution format (300dpi).

Please read our terms and conditions, please note these are final and no correspondence will be entered into.  


How to enter

Each entry must be submitted with a completed Entry Form (one entry form per photograph). Entries may be submitted in both landscape and portrait orientation, however, please note that the desk calendar is designed in a landscape format and photographs may need to be cropped to suit the size requirements of the desk calendar.

Entries, along with a fully completed entry form for each image, may be submitted:

(a) electronically to the Rural Health West Marketing team at, (up to 10MB per email); or

(b) on USB and posted to the Marketing team at Rural Health West, PO Box 433, Nedlands, Western Australia 6909.

Entries must be high-resolution (300dpi) and will not be returned.
